Saga of the Garbage Continues

Grand Marais- As of the time of the Cook County Board of Commissioners special meeting
this morning, Pederson Disposal has not yet met his obligation to the State,
and was not re-issued his waste haulers license.

The Board of Commissioners decided to take no further action at this time,
and will take up the issue for discussion once again at their regularly
scheduled meeting on Tuesday, August 12th.

Until then, it is our understanding that Pederson's Disposal will continue
to collect garbage, and actively work with the State of Minnesota to resolve
the issue.
